Titanic gets great reviews in Sydney
“Titanic: The Movie, The Play” has been getting great reviews in the Harbour City as part of Sydney Fringe 2022!
The geniuses behind the Sydney Fringe (and beyond) hit-about-a-movie-hit Speed: The Movie, The Play are back, and they’ve done it again… This so much clever and great natured fun and funny it is almost a crime.
Sometimes, stuff it, as a theatregoer, you just want to have fun. Forget the deep and meaningful, Forget even about making sense. You just want to be taken on a madcap, zany, silly ride. If you are in one of these kind of moods then this show is your ticket.
The cast really does an amazing job at balancing interactive, spontaneous theatre, while also maintaining the cannon of the film’s plot, allure, and dialogue.
Titanic: The Movie, The Play is a must add to your Sydney Fringe Festival list. Come with an open mind, willingness to play Rose, and to laugh at the multiple pop culture references, tongue in cheek moments and things not going to plan. This show is a thoroughly enjoyable night out and a great way to support small theatre.
